This me

I'm learning who I am
I'm a protector
I don't like to give on a lost cause
I'm willing to go the distance for anyone
I am loyal and loving
I think with my heart and soul
I am real
I'm want to break the mold
With my words I can heal or hurt
I am winter born
I love how untouched snow looks
Just like my love for white roses
I have had my share of pain
In my darkness I have found light
In my friends and family
I'm not perfect
I hope I never will be
Like the in spring when the rain begins rebirthing flowers
Now is my rebirth
The rain relaxes me to my core just like the water
Big ripples have appeared and I'm getting past them
I don't know where this road will take me
However I hope I travel it with a companion
I also hope that I can give people light in there darkness
I am neither an angel or demon
I am simply me
I do not ask to be thanked for kindness
My heart guides me
Many times tears have rolled down my cheeks
I wear my heart on my sleeve
I do not hide who I am
I was inspired to write this
By a friend I have just met
He wrote a poem about himself
It's funny how writers attract other writers

I thank you just from knowing you a short while you showed me your creative work
It is truly an honor
I can already sense and tell what kind of person you are and I hope our paths continue to cross
